Cyprus Revenue from Tourism for July Announced

Based on the results of the passenger’s survey carried out by the Statistical Service, Cyprus revenue from tourism reached EUR513 million in July of this year, recording an increase of 8,2 percent as compared to the corresponding month of 2024 (EUR474,0 million).

For the period of January – July of this current year, revenue from tourism is estimated at EUR1.891,1 million compared to EUR1.610,4 million in the corresponding period of 2024, recording an increase of 17,4 percent.

The average expenditure per person was EUR870,78 this July compared to EUR859,95 in July 2024, recording an increase of 1,3 percent.

Tourists from the UK (the largest tourist market with 32,2 percent of the total tourists in July) spent on average €100,29 per day, while tourists from Israel (the second largest market during the specific month with 13 percent of the total tourists) spent on average EUR151,10. Tourists from Poland (the third largest market with 7,4 percent), spent on average EUR90,23 per day.
