Cyprus Revenue from Tourism for December 2025 Announced

Based on the results of the Passengers Survey carried out by the Statistical Service, Cyprus’ revenue from tourism reached EUR96,7 million in December 2025, recording an increase of 11,3 percent compared to the corresponding month of 2024 (EUR86,9 million).

For the period of January – December 2025, revenue from tourism is estimated at EUR3.696,1 million compared to EUR3.209,4 million in the corresponding period of 2024, recording an increase of 15,2 percent.

The average expenditure per person was EUR616,29 in December 2025 compared to EUR653,27 in December 2024, recording a decrease of 5,7 percent. Tourists from Israel (the largest tourist market with 19,1 percent of the total tourists in December 2025) spent on average EUR145,03 per day, while tourists from the UK (the second largest market during the specific month with 19 percent of the total tourists) spent on average EUR65,39. Tourists from Poland (the third largest market with 11,3 percent) spent on average EUR85,69 per day.
