The event, held at the Atlantica Miramare Hotel Beach, Limassol, on January 27, was co-organised by Elpis Tourism, Hospitality Seminars and Tourism Generis companies of Greece, under the auspices of the Association of Cyprus Travel Agents (ACTA) .

The symposium was attended by representatives of ACTA, the Cyprus Tourism Organisation, Cyprus Hotel Association, as well as hotel executives, tourist offices and land development companies.

George Drakopoulos, certified instructor, Chinese Outbound Tourism Research Institute, said, "China is today, and will be for many years, the dynamic outbound tourism market.

Cyprus, within the diversification strategy of the mixture of inbound purchases, must claim a share of the Chinese market, taking advantage of the islands natural beauty and culture.”
