On September 29, a press conference was held at Cyprus’ Ministry of Transport, Communications and Work, aiming to prepare the ground for Maritime Cyprus 2017 international conference.

Highlighting that Cyprus is one of the most important shipping centres in the world with an integrated infrastructure in all shipping sectors and one of the largest ship management centres globally, Marios Demetriades, transport, communications and works minister, Cyprus, stressed that the island has a modern and high quality fleet, that ranks 11th in the world and third in the European Union.

This year’s Maritime Cyprus 2017 conference will take place on October 08 —11 at Amathus Beach Hotel under the theme Yesterday’s World, Tomorrow’s Today.
