Ayia Napa is stepping up cooperation with one of its twin towns, the Russian Black Sea city of Gelendzhik.

Following the twinning partnership protocol signed in September at the context of Ayia Napa International Festival between Ayia Napa and Gelendzhik, the two cities completed the twinning B phase on November 25, in Russia.

In the context of 2017 Ayia Napa International Festival, Ayia Napa Municipality signed a twining partnership protocol with the Russian city of Gelendzhik.

As part of its strategic plans to further strengthen the bilateral relations between Cyprus and Russia, Yiannis Karousos, mayor, Ayia Napa Municipality, welcomed Chriestin Victor, mayor, Municipality of Gelendzhik to Ayia Napa.
