Tourist Arrivals
The arrivals of tourists reached 489.965 in June of this year compared to 498.527 in June 2025, recording a decrease of 1,7 percent. For the period of January – June of the current year, arrivals of tourists totalled 1.656.015 compared to 1.843.013 in the corresponding period of 2025, recording a decrease of 10,1 percent.
The arrivals of tourists reached 455.680 in May of this year compared to 479.160 in May 2025, recording a decrease of 4,9 percent. For the period of January – May of the current year, arrivals of tourists totalled 1.166.050 compared to 1.344.486 in the corresponding period of 2025, recording a decrease of 13,3 percent.
The arrivals of tourists to Cyprus reached 487.350 in September of this year compared to 413.382 in September 2022, recording an increase of 17,9 percent. For the period of January – September, arrivals of tourists totalled 3.136.145 compared to 2.540.554 in the corresponding period of 2022, recording an increase of 23,4 percent.
Cyprus arrivals of tourists reached 420.076 in May of this year compared to 315.018 in May 2022, recording an increase of 33,3 percent. For the period of January – May of the current year, arrivals of tourists totalled 1.156.705 compared to 849.058 in the corresponding period of 2022, recording an increase of 36,2 percent.
Cyprus arrivals of tourists reached 184.263 in March of this year, compared to 128.840 in March 2022, recording an increase of 43 percent. For the period of January – March, arrivals of tourists totalled 393.893 compared to 244.705 in the corresponding period of 2022, recording an increase of 61 percent.
On the basis of the results of the passenger survey carried out by the Statistical Service, revenue from tourism in Cyprus reached EUR292,7 million in June of this year compared to EUR135,8 million in June 2021, recording an increase of 115,5 percent.
Cyprus arrivals of tourists reached 297,308 in July of this year, recording an increase of 358 percent compared to July 2020 (during which 64,914 arrivals were recorded), and a decrease of 46 percent compared to July 2019 (with 550,971 arrivals).
The arrivals of tourists to Cyprus reached 104,261 in August of this year compared to 553,845 in August 2019, recording a decrease of 81,2 percent.
On the basis of the results of the Cyprus Passenger Survey carried out by the statistical service, revenue from tourism in June of this year reached EUR6,7 million compared to EUR350,4 million in the corresponding month of the previous year, recording a decrease of 98,1 percent.
Cyprus’ arrivals of tourists reached 9,119 in June of this year compared to 509,662 in June 2019, recording a decrease of 98,2 percent.
