The imposing sculpture of 2.80 m is made of white marble of Kavala and has given the space a special aesthetic, representing the inhabitants, where most of them were known as fishermen in the past.

Yannis Karousos, mayor, Ayia Napa, said, "We have set a goal, that the works that will be created under the two phases of the Fifth Symposium, mainly from white marble of Kavala, should be placed outside the sculpture park in various parts of the city so that we create new reference points in our municipality."
