The tree planting was attended, honoring with his presence of Christos Zannettou, mayor, Ayia Napa, who thanked and congratulated the association for its initiative to plant more than 50 trees in a prominent area of Ayia Napa, thus strengthening the goals that has been set by the municipality for the upgrade and expansion of the green, which as he said, "is an oxygen lung for the better quality of life and the standard of living of both residents and visitors".
From the side of the Pancyprian Association of Hotel Managers, the Christos Angelidis, president, after thanking the mayor for the concession of the space in order to make the organisation of the tree planting possible, stated that the association fulfilled a promise he made to his friends as disgraceful as it is to their families that they miss these people so much.
"We planted the trees," said Angelidis, "in order to grow the roots left behind by these great people, who are their children, their families and all the work they have done for our hotel industry."
