Held July 09, participating crews caught a total of 32 tons of Albacore, with the winning African-Cypriot team in the S.I.S.E.A.L. category catching three fish coming in at 26,650 grams.
Out of the competing companies, first place went to the Hobby Mania crew whose fish weighed 22,450 grams. In the Limassol Marina category, the first place was taken by the Ayios Nikolaos crew, with a total weight of 17,200 grams. Following the weighing of the fish and awarding commemorative prizes to the winner, a raffle was held raising EUR2,122 that was donated in full to the Yellow line of help – KΕΠΑΚΥ.
Competitors also enjoyed a live sushi demonstration by a well-known restaurant. The event was also attended by the founder of the foundation, Andreas Sofokleous, together with wife susena Sofokleous, as well as popular actor and one of the pioneers of the Yellow Line, Kostas Vichas. A wonderful time was had by all attendees, ensuring the successful conclusion of this occasion.
