The arrivals of travellers to Cyprus in June reached 661,970 compared to 642,030 in June 2018, recording an increase of 3,1 percent. The increase is mainly attributed to the return of residents of Cyprus (19,5 percent).

On the basis of the results of the Cyprus Passengers Survey, arrivals of tourists reached 509,662 in June compared to 511,073 in June 2018, recording a decrease of 0,3 percent.

On the basis of the results of the Cyprus Passenger Survey, revenue from tourism reached EUR186,6 million in April compared to EUR181,4 million in the corresponding month of 2018, recording an increase of 2,9 percent.

Opportunities in the tourism industry, as well as the need to accelerate procedures related to developing and promoting sustainable tourism, were the focus of a meeting between DP World Limassol and Savvas Perdios, deputy minister of tourism, Cyprus.

On the basis of the results of the Cyprus Passengers Survey, arrivals of tourists reached 106,563 in December 2018 compared to 98,924 in December 2017, recording an increase of 7,7 percent.

On the basis of the results of the Cyprus Passenger Survey, revenue from tourism reached EUR293,8 million in October 2018 compared to EUR277,1 million in the corresponding month of 2017, recording an increase of six percent.

The Passenger Survey has revealed that Cyprus welcomed 82,209 tourists in February, representing a year-on-year increase of 24.6 percent, from 65,988 arrivals in 2016.
