InvestCyprus, the island’s organization responsible for attracting foreign direct investment, announced the creation of a dedicated unit in a bid to facilitate efforts to achieve Cyprus’ National Tourist Strategy for 2030, which aims at attracting five million tourists by 2030.
On the basis of the results of the Cyprus Passenger Survey, revenue from tourism reached EUR299,4 million in October 2019 compared to EUR293,8 million the corresponding month of the 2018, recording an increase of 1,9 percent.
