Permission was granted after it was established the project had fully satisfied the national legislation for the environment and all European Commission recommendations, aiming at protecting the integrity of turtle habitat.

The Limni Bay resort will consist primarily of two 18-hole Signature Golf Courses with a Clubhouse for each Golf Course, a premium hotel, villas on individual plots and other residential units, leisure facilities, a museum dedicated to the history of Limni and an extensive landscaped network of walkways and bicycle tracks. The project will also include many other environmental features and will be in harmony with, and also enhance, the natural environment.
