Haris Loizidis, president, Cyprus Hotel Association recently announced in a letter to the president of the Republic, Nikos Anastasiadis about the intention of the association to support, in practice, the fight to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

In particular, Loizidis informed President Anastasiadis that the Cyprus Hotel Association, through the board of directors and its members, will contribute the amount of EUR100,000, in an effort to contribute to tackling the effects of the pandemic. This amount is in addition to contributions made voluntarily by members of the association.

It is also worth noting that several hotel members of the association responded to the call of the Cyprus Ministry of Health both for hosting repatriated compatriots for a period of 15 days for precautionary reasons, and for the safe rest of the medical and nursing staff on the front line.
