Setting the wellbeing of colleagues and guests as a top priority, and with the aim to contribute to the protection and promotion of health and safety in the community, Melco Cyprus organised a vaccination event at its premises in Limassol in coordination with the Ministry of Health on July 30.

 Leading health experts shared information about the COVID-19 vaccination with Melco Cyprus colleagues and their families and friends. All those in attendance had the opportunity to get vaccinated by licensed medical personnel. The event was attended by Eirini Evripidou, health officer, on behalf of the Ministry of Health, Cyprus.

 Since the onset of the pandemic, Melco Cyprus has acted promptly to safeguard the wellbeing of colleagues and guests by implementing rigorous health and hygiene plans at all its premises, including, among others, regular and stringent disinfection and sanitisation procedures, as well as being one of the first in the market to require safe pass and temperature checks for colleagues and guests before entering the company’s premises.

 Further targeted activities have included health seminars with professional consultants, awareness campaigns and specialised staff trainings. In addition, complimentary, on-premise rapid tests for employees have been provided by certified colleagues, while various benefits have been provided for vaccinated employees.
