Cobalt Awaits Launch

Cobalt is the new carrier to enter the Cypriot travel scene, expected to start services in July following the approval of its air operator’s certificate application. The airline, which already welcomed its first aircraft, will initially link Cyprus to Athens,

Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Chania, London, Manchester, East Midlands, Glasgow, Cardiff, Dublin, Paris, Beirut, Tel Aviv and Tehran, with more destinations to be added by October.

Gregory Diacou, chairman, Cobalt, highlighted the company’s strong belief in the skills of Cypriots, and in order to support the national economy, it has decided to recruit mostly from the local workforce.
