A significant recognition has been added to the accolades of Larnaka International Airport. Larnaka Airport which is managed and operated by Hermes Airports was ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Best Airports in Europe’ Awards (five to 10 million passengers category) during the 35th Annual Congress and General Assembly of ACI Europe (Airports Council International Europe), which took place in Athens, on June 19 of this year.

In 2024, employment inequalities linked to disability, gender and origin were recorded in the EU. For the period of January – April, arrivals of tourists totalled 865.326 compared to 748.814 in the corresponding period of 2024, recording an increase of 15,6 percent.
