Sophia Foundation Hippo Project Decorates Larnaka Airport

In an effort to support the Sophia Foundation financially, Cypriot artists have created 20 unique hippopotamuses, which are now decorating Larnaka International Airport.

For the last five years, Sophia Foundation has successfully been implementing a charity programme, namely I Cook and Offer, for Cyprus’ students in need. The charity programme is also supported by Hermes Airports. The idea for this innovative project that carries the slogan Let's Hippo was inspired by Sophia Foundation's stone-made little hippopotamuses, prepared with a lot of love by children in Kenya.

The 20 big hippopotamuses will be located at various central points of Larnaka Airport terminal building, both in the arrivals and departures areas from July 13 – 31.
