The first flight arrived at Larnaca Airport, where Yiannis Karousos, minister of transport, communications and works, Cyprus, and Eleni Kaloyirou, CEO, Hermes Airport, welcomed the first passengers to the island.

Karousos commenting on the occasion said, “Cyprus won a major battle today with the resumption of flights and the connection of Cyprus with 19 countries. This morning I proudly welcomed the first passengers who arrived at 10:15 at Larnaca Airport from Tel Aviv. We continue to abide by all appropriate measures with our main public health concern.”
