The main countries from which the residents of Cyprus returned in December 2020, were Greece, the UK, Russia and Germany. As compared to December 2019, the returns of residents from Greece decreased by 89,7 percent, returns from the UK decreased by 86,8 percent, Russia by 88,9 percent and from Germany by 89,4 percent.
The statistics for December 2020 were obtained from processing of the data of the electronic platform ‘Cyprus Flight Pass’. Due to issues that arose from the self-declared information provided by the passengers, it was not possible to provide a more extensive analysis.

A total number of 17,958 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in December 2020, compared to 144,619 in the corresponding month of 2019, recording a decrease of 87,6 percent.
