For customers looking to book early and get ahead of the summer rush, Ryanair, Europe’s most reliable airline has its summer 2023 flights on sale. Cyprus Airways recently announced its traffic results for September of this year. During this month, the airline operated a total of 267 flights (September 2021 – 148 flights) and carried a total of 34,868 passengers (September 2021 – 9,570 passengers), registering a healthy Seat Load Factor (SLF) of 79 percent (September 2021 – 50 percent). A further 108 flights were operated on an ACMI lease on behalf of an operator. In December 2021, the number of commercial flights in the EU increased by 130 percent compared with December 2020. However this is still below the pre-pandemic levels (-24 percent compared with December 2019). The Cyprus Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announced that the repatriation of citizens from countries that do not fall under Categories A or B will continue until June 19, of this year after a recent decision of the council of ministers. Blue Air will launch the new Bacau - Larnaca - Bacau route from June 16, to October 23, with two flights per week. Cyprus Airways has announced a partnership with Qatar Airways, the national carrier of the State of Qatar. Cyprus Airways and Romanian carrier Blue Air have entered into a codeshare partnership.
