Continuing this year’s Aphrodite of Cavo Greco theme, Famagusta district’s carnival queen, Maria Armenaki, was recently photographed at sites the Greek Goddess of Love is said to have visited.

Maria Armenaki, Famagusta’s Carnival Queen, was officially crowned during the region’s recent Tsiknopempti ‘Smoky Thursday’ celebrations.

Maria Armenaki, Miss Cyprus 2017, is this year’s Queen of Famagusta Carnival and will be carried through the parade on a float themed ‘The Aphrodite of Cavo Greco.’
