Taking place for the eighth consecutive year, the race saw competing solar vehicles race against each other on the roads of Nicosia city, starting from Stasikratous Street and ending up in Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue.

The winner of the competition was Technical School of Avgorou with its vehicle Hyperion3. With this initiative, The Cyprus Institute aims to stimulate interest and enthusiasm in physics, engineering as well as design and technology while also promoting sustainable development.
