Overall, seven first places were achieved by Cypriot athletes at the Games.

Representing the Pancyprian Gymnastic Association (GSP), Olivia Fotopoulou for 100 m won first place with 11.49” as did Natalia Evaggelidou for 800 m with 2.07.63 '', Kalliopi Kountouri for 400 m with 54.64 '' and Philippa Fotopoulou with a long jump length of 6.20 m. Significantly, Fotopoulos was also named the best athlete at the GSSE.

Third places, won by GSP athletes, went to Nicolas Frangou for 3000 m at 8.34.25 '', and Meropi Panagiotou for 3000 m with an individual performance of 9.37.02 ''.
