The event was organised by Cyprus Certification Company (CCC) and Cyprus Organisation for Standardisation (CYS) and saw local companies awarded for their high levels of quality.

Prodromou said, “The phase of development our country has entered into and the demanding times we currently live make it very important to take care of and improve the quality of goods and services.”

He also noted that, beyond, this, it was also important to provide proof of this high quality.

Prodromou said he was pleased such a large number of companies and organisations had recognised the importance of quality, adopting the necessary principals and practices to be certified.
