In an article in Xenodohos (Hotelier) magazine, Loizides said: “For the first time in Cyprus, a strategic plan for tourism is being implemented. There goals and the government, parliament and social partners are interested and coordinating to achieve the best possible result.”

In the same articles, Loizides notes that resulting developments have been pleasing and made it possible to express optimism for the future of tourism, which he described as a life-giving industry for the Cyprus economy.
The CHA president said that the increases in tourist arrivals to Cyprus were not coincidental but the result of hard work.
