Larnaca is third with 15.5 percent followed by Famagusta with 10 percent and Nicosia with just 5.5 percent.
During the first eight months of this year, a total of 2,884 property sale contracts were deposited by overseas buyers, with 919 deposited by EU nationals and 1,965 by non-EU nationals.
Also, during the same period the total number of contracts deposited at the Land Registry Office has risen 22 percent compared to the ones deposited during the corresponding period of 2017.
