Paphos remains the champion in property sales, according to Leptos Estates

Paphos is in the lead as the most popular district for overseas buyers from Europe and Non-Europeans by 39 percent in comparison to Limassol which follows with 30 percent, according to Leptos Estates.
Larnaca is third with 15.5 percent followed by Famagusta with 10 percent and Nicosia with just 5.5 percent.
During the first eight months of this year, a total of 2,884 property sale contracts were deposited by overseas buyers, with 919 deposited by EU nationals and 1,965 by non-EU nationals.
Also, during the same period the total number of contracts deposited at the Land Registry Office has risen 22 percent compared to the ones deposited during the corresponding period of 2017.
