In December 2018 there was a decrease of 6,8 percent in the trips of residents to Greece (34,744 in December 2018 compared to 37,268 in December 2017) and a decrease of 5,6 percent in the trips of residents to the UK (28,030 compared to 29,707 of 2017).

On the basis of the results of the Cyprus Passengers Survey, 122,149 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in December 2018 compared to 110,849 in the corresponding month in 2017, recording an increase of 10,2 percent.
