For the period of January – August revenue from tourism is estimated at EUR1,856,8 million compared to EUR1,889,7 million in the corresponding period of 2018, recording a decrease of 1,7 percent.

The expenditure per person for August reached EUR779, 31 compared to EUR800,65 in the corresponding month of the previous year, recording a decrease of 2,7 percent.

The expenditure per person/per day for August compared to August 2018 recorded an increase of 1,3 percent (from EUR77,73 to EUR78,72). A decrease of 3,9 percent was recorded in the average length of stay, from 10,3 days in August 2018 to 9,9 days in August this year.

The expenditure per person for the period of January – August reached EUR678,69 compared to EUR694,85 in the corresponding period of the previous year, recording a decrease of 2,3 percent.

The expenditure per person/per day for the period of January – August compared to the period of January – August 2018 recorded a decrease of 0,2 percent (from EUR75,53 to EUR75,41).
