City of Dreams Mediterranean Sponsors Cyprus Hotel Association’s Annual Event

Melco Cyprus, operator of Cyprus Casinos (C2) and the upcoming integrated resort (IR) City of Dreams Mediterranean, supported the Annual Hotel Conference of the Cyprus Hotel Association (CHA - PASYXE) for the third consecutive year, with City of Dreams Mediterranean participating as a sponsor of the event.

A key event and the largest annual meeting for the tourism industry in Cyprus, the 43rd Cyprus Hotel Summit & Exhibition of CHA was held on June 29 in Nicosia in the presence of Minister of Finance, Constantinos Petrides; Minister of Transport, Communication and Works, Yiannis Karousos and the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Savvas Perdios, as well as other high-level executives, leaders of the hospitality industry and local and international stakeholders.

The theme of the conference was ‘Act Local, Think Global: A Roadmap for Recovery’ – primarily focusing on the tourism industry’s resumption and new prospects following the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, while emphasising the latest local and international developments and trends. Participants were offered a glimpse into City of Dreams Mediterranean’s luxurious facilities at Melco Cyprus’ booth at the Exhibition.

The pinnacle of Melco’s investment in Cyprus, City of Dreams Mediterranean, will be Cyprus’ first integrated resort and the largest in Europe and is set to open its doors to the public in summer 2022.
