Cyprus Revenue from Tourism October Shows Increase

On the basis of the results of the Passenger Survey carried out by the Cyprus Statistical Service, revenue from tourism in Cyprus reached EUR310,2 million in October 2021, compared to EUR77,4 million in October 2020, recording an increase of 300,8 percent. As compared to the revenue from tourism for October 2019 (EUR299,4 million), there was an increase of 3,6 percent. 

For the period of January – October 2021, revenue from tourism is estimated at EUR1,355,4 million compared to EUR376,3 million in the corresponding period of 2020, recording an increase of 260,2 percent and a decrease of 46,5 percent compared to January-October 2019 (EUR2,533,4 million).
