It is noted that, during the first, second and third quarters of 2021, the Special Schemes of the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance for dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic were in force, resulting in reduced average gross monthly earnings, since the amount taken into account is the earnings paid by the employer and does not include any amount paid as an allowance under the schemes.

The average gross monthly earnings during the third quarter of 2022, seasonally adjusted, are estimated at EUR2.187 and compared to the second quarter of 2022 they are increased by 0,7 percent.

The average gross monthly earnings of male employees during the third quarter of 2022 are estimated at EUR2.217 and of female employees at EUR1.884. Compared to the third quarter of 2021, the average gross monthly earnings of male and female employees recorded an increase of 5,1 percent and 5,4 percent respectively.
