Cyprus Revenue from Tourism for November 2024 Shows Increase

Based on the results of the passenger’s survey carried out by the Statistical Service, Cyprus revenue from tourism reached EUR138,7 million in November 2024, recording an increase of 22 percent as compared to the corresponding month of 2023 (EUR113,7 million).

For the period of January – November 2024, revenue from tourism is estimated at EUR3.122,5 million compared to EUR2.916,3 million in the corresponding period of 2023, recording an increase of 7,1 percent.

The average expenditure per person was EUR771,02 in November 2024 compared to EUR712,63 in November 2023, recording an increase of 8,2 percent.

Tourists from the UK (the largest tourist market with 25,9 percent of the total tourists in November 2024) spent on average EUR80,58 per day, while tourists from Poland (the second largest market during the specific month with 11,3 percent of the total tourists) spent on average EUR 88,80. Tourists from Israel (the third largest market with 10,5 percent), spent on average EUR139,80 per day.
