The competition welcomed the national teams of Finland, Ireland, Wales, Italy, Hungary, Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic.

Cyprus Tourism Organisation supported the event which resulted in more than 3,000 guest nights on the island.

The authority had earlier also brought to Cyprus the annual Russian NFL Cup which saw the participation of 16 teams and is estimated to have generated over 13,000 overnight stays.
