The aim of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with its participation, was to promote Cyprus as a high quality and multi-dimensional tourist destination, to provide important information on promotion and competition issues, as well as to strengthen relations with foreign tourists in order to attract an increased flow of visitors to the island.
In this context, meetings were planned with leaders of the leading UK travel and airline organisers.
At the same time, the deputy foreign minister was scheduled to interview key media in Israel, China, Germany and the UK in order to highlight the attractive features and benefits of tourist Cyprus.
It is noted that, in addition to the Ministry of Tourism, there were several important Cypriot tourism operators present on the Cyprus pavilion.
