The Conference is under the auspices of the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, who addressed participants, while the Minister of Interior, Nicos Nouris, will chair it as host minister. The government Spokesman, Kyriakos Koushos, also addressed the conference.
The conference consisted of four thematic areas:
- The impacts of AI-powered technologies on freedom of expression
- The changing environment in media and information
- Taking action to ensure the safety of journalists
- Resilience of freedom of expression protection networks in times of crisis.
