During the reception, Anastasiades and other distinguished guests witnessed up close the resort’s innovative architectural design, which makes it a landmark in the region and beyond and were given a tour of its luxurious facilities before experiencing top-class culinary offerings that won Melco several Michelin Stars.
Anastasiades was presented with an honorary plaque, while Ho also unveiled a sign dedicated to President Anastasiades and his vision to “make the dream a reality”.
Scheduled to open in the second quarter of the year, City of Dreams Mediterranean aims to become a gamechanger for Cyprus’ hospitality industry.
In a speech during the event, Anastasiades thanked Melco and CNS and their CEOs, adding that their decision to invest in the City of Dreams Mediterranean represented a vote of confidence in Cyprus, its prospects and potential in the tourist field and beyond.
