The strong ties between Cyprus and Israel were once again confirmed in the Cyprus – Israel Regatta, organised by the Israel Yacht Club together with the Famagusta District Sailing Club Begafigo from October 03–12.
Taking place for the seventh consecutive year Cyprus’ Regattas aim to promote water sports tourism on the island while also strengthening the ties between Cyprus and other nations in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
The Cyprus-Israel Regatta ended in Tel Aviv with the yacht Avantura from Cyprus taking the first place.
The event was also supported by Larnaca Municipality, Larnaka Tourism Board, Cyprus Tourism Organisation as well as Limassol Marina.
