This charity provides assistance to the children suffering from cancer and related illnesses, and the amount of EUR13,000 which was raised from the proceeds of the Beach Volley Charity Tournament, which was organised by the Shipping Chamber with the participation of its member-companies in September, was donated.

The cheque was presented during the Cyprus Shipping Chamber’s Monthly Members’ Meeting on October 17, which was organised at the Four Seasons Hotel in Limassol.

The multifaceted and socio-economic contribution of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, for the past 30 years, demonstrates the strong commitment of the Cyprus shipping industry to its social Corporate responsibility and at the same time its important contribution to the Cyprus economy and society in general.
