Cyprus shipping was one of the issues discussed during the annual meeting, which was organised within the framework of briefing the Heads of Diplomatic Missions on the key pillars of the Cyprus foreign policy.

Thomas Kazakos, director general, CSC, presented together with Costas Iacovou, permanent secretary, Deputy Ministry of Shipping, the current policy matters, as well as the opportunities that concern Cyprus shipping.

Emphasis was given on the need for further promotion as it constitutes one of the most financially important sectors of the Cyprus economy. In addition, they exchanged ideas on further coordination and cooperation for the benefit of Cyprus shipping.
