Limassol Marina Limassol Marina

The Yachting Hub of the Eastern Med Operating at Close to Capacity

Limassol Marina has firmly established itself as the yachting destination of choice in the Eastern Mediterranean, with the project having been operating at close to full berth capacity in the post-summer season.

With its city-centre location, world class facilities and amenities, industry-leading customer service and a thriving commercial community, the superyacht marina has undoubtedly become a home away from home for boat owners and crew across the whole yachting industry.

After just eight years since its official opening by the President of the Republic of Cyprus in 2014, all of those behind the project are celebrating this historic milestone.

A busy period for Limassol Marina, this September saw the arrival of 17 superyachts, ranging in size from 35 m – 130 m, employing between eight – 122 crew members onboard.

For the yachts that exceed the size of the marina’s largest berth – still capable of accommodating 110 m superyachts - the same premium services are offered from a dedicated superyacht anchorage location just outside the marina.  With some yachts using the marina as a stopover as they transit through the East Med – perhaps via the Suez Canal and some choosing Limassol Marina as their winter lay-up destination of choice, the project has proven that Cyprus is an attractive option for yachts all year round.

This tops off a record-breaking summer season that has seen almost 550 visiting arrivals handled by the team at the marina since May, demonstrating the positive impact that the Limassol Marina project is having on tourism in the city.
