As part of its strategy to further boost sports tourism in Cyprus, while also enabling local athletes to participate in global events, Pafos Regional Board of Tourism has recently unveiled plans to provide symbolic financial support to two local athletes.

June saw the highest volume of tourists ever recorded in Cyprus during the particular month, as revealed in Passengers Survey.

According to the Statistical Service of Cyprus’ Passenger Survey, revenue from tourism in April reached EUR189.6 million, recording 37.5 percent increase compared to the EUR137.9 million received in the corresponding month of 2016.
