Swedish Herber Haggstrom was, on May 11, named by Ayia Napa Municipality as an ambassador of tourism for his 35th visit to the destination.

Ayia Napa Municipality has welcomed its latest tourist ambassadors; Stig and Ann-Karin Sneeggen and Igrid Jensrud, all from Norway.

Maria Toufini, cultural officer, Ayia Napa Municipality, has honoured the region’s first tourism ambassadors of the year.

To honour their support and regular visits to Ayia Napa, a couple from Sweden and a Norwegian individual were rewarded with the title of ambassadors in a ceremony organised by the Municipality of Ayia Napa.
