On March 06, Christos Zannettos, deputy mayor, Ayia Napa, honoured the Norwegian ambassadors with the Municipality’s highest distinction for their 24 and 23 visits, respectively, to the popular tourist destination.  During the ceremony, Zannettos thanked the travellers for their frequent visits as well, their loyalty to the island and for choosing Ayia Napa as a regular destination for their holidays.

Ayia Napa is known for its quality Blue Flag beaches, party lifestyle and clubbing scene, with the town's main landmark, the Venetian-era Ayia Napa Monastery, also a popular attraction. Tourists also enjoy the destination’s various dining options, which include fresh seafood taverns located at Ayia Napa Harbour.
