Presentation of the Cyprus National Tourism Strategy 2030

In a simple ceremony held at the Presidential Palace on, January 22, the Savvas Perdios, deputy minister of tourism, Cyprus presented the National Tourism Strategy 2030 to foreign ambassadors in Cyprus, to high-ranking officials of key tourism players and other Cypriot tourists.

After welcoming the guests, Perdios thanked the attendees for their excellent relations and the constructive cooperation they had with the Cyprus Tourism Organization, as well as with the newly established Ministry of Tourism. At the same time, he assured them that the aim is to further strengthen this cooperation.

Referring to Cyprus' Strategic Goals for the Tourism Sector by 2030, the Perdios referred to the vision of establishing Cyprus as a full-time, quality, digitally intelligent and socially beneficial destination. He also referred to the numerical objectives of the strategy, to climate change, the importance of respect for the environment and the need for sustainable development.

The event ended with a Cypriot breakfast offering, in collaboration with the Cyprus Chefs Association.
