Cyprus Revenue from Tourism for April Announced

Based on the results of the Cyprus Passengers Survey carried out by the Statistical Service, revenue from tourism reached EUR304,2 million in April of this year, recording an increase of 39,9 percent as compared to the corresponding month of 2024 (EUR217,4 million).

For the period of January – April of this current year, revenue from tourism is estimated at EUR582,5 million compared to EUR440,7 million in the corresponding period of 2024, recording an increase of 32,2 percent.

The average expenditure per person was EUR726,42 in April 2025 compared to EUR651,69 in April 2024, recording an increase of 11,5 percent. Tourists from the UK (the largest tourist market with 36,3 percent of the total tourists this April) spent on average EUR89,33 per day, while tourists from Israel (the second largest market during the specific month with 15,2 percent of the total tourists) spent on average EUR140,08. Tourists from Germany (the third largest market with 7,1 percent), spent on average EUR103,23 per day.
