Cyprus Revenue from Tourism for February Announced

Based on the results of the Passengers Survey carried out by the Statistical Service, Cyprus revenue from tourism reached EUR85,3 million in February of this year, recording an increase of 7 percent compared to the corresponding month of the previous year (EUR79,7 million).

For the period of January – February of this current year, revenue from tourism is estimated at EUR159,9 million compared to EUR148,9 million in the corresponding period of 2025, recording an increase of 7,4 percent.

Expenditure Analysis

The average expenditure per person was EUR581,85 this February compared to EUR595,71 in February 2025, recording a decrease of 2,3 percent.

Tourists from the UK (the largest tourist market with 19,3 percent of the total tourists this February) spent on average EUR72,72 per day, while tourists from Poland (the second largest market during the specific month with 18,4 percent of the total tourists) spent on average EUR75,02. Tourists from Israel (the third largest market with 12,6 percent) spent on average EUR157,15 per day.
