A meeting was held on January 31 between the Cyprus Sports Organisation (CSO) and the Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) in the framework of promoting and developing sport tourism on the island.
The close collaboration between the two bodies has set the basis for succeeding their shared goals.
Sport tourism in Cyprus constitutes a key-factor for the island's economic development while contributing significantly in the amelioration of the problem of seasonality in the touristic period.
Present at the meeting were Leontios Tselepos, president, CSO and Kostas Koumis, vice chairman, CTO.
