The Department of Fisheries and Marine Research (TATHE), the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and the Environment and the Cyprus Institute for Maritime and Shipping (CMMI) signed a memorandum of cooperation on  March 11. 

In line with its attempts to promote sustainable tourism and protect the island's unique biodiversity, Pafos Regional Board of Tourism has announced that The Baths is now officially under protection, becoming the first snorkeling park in Cyprus.
