Tourist Arrivals

The arrivals of tourists reached 489.965 in June of this year compared to 498.527 in June 2025, recording a decrease of 1,7 percent. For the period of January – June of the current year, arrivals of tourists totalled 1.656.015 compared to 1.843.013 in the corresponding period of 2025, recording a decrease of 10,1 percent.

On July 20, Air France and Cyprus Airways announced the signing of a codeshare agreement covering flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) – Larnaca (LCA).

In 2025, 31.1 percent of all overnight stays in tourist accommodations across the EU took place during the two busiest months; in all EU countries these were August and July. The arrivals of tourists reached 455.680 in May of this year compared to 479.160 in May 2025, recording a decrease of 4,9 percent. For the period of January – May of the current year, arrivals of tourists totalled 1.166.050 compared to 1.344.486 in the corresponding period of 2025, recording a decrease of 13,3 percent.
