Katsari and Gettos brought the island’s myths back to life

Ayia Napa municipality hosted an event where Marina Katsari, narrator, and Vangelis Gettos, musician, presented Medieval Fairytales of Cyprus.
The two artists brought back to life the legends and tales of Melouzin, Digenis, Rigena, Dragon and Lygeris, under accordion, lute and percussion sounds.
The performance was under the framework of a three-month theatre performance organised by Ayia Napa Municipality.
During the three-month period, performances, including; Odyssevah, children’s theatre by Xeni Kalogeropoulou, Little Farisians by Dimitris Psathas, The Chairs by Eugene Ionesco, and more will follow.
